Lakesmere used extensive 3D modelling to create a bespoke roof system for the undulating shell-shaped roof of the Pearl Dive Centre in Dubai, the world's deepest recreational dive pool. Designed to give the appearance of a clam shell, triangulated coated aluminium panels were used to achieve a smooth continuous surface over the ridges and gullies of the roof.

The free form standing seam Kalzip sheets for the three-dimensionally curved roof were fabricated by Lakesmere on-site, before being covered with the triangular rainscreen system to achieve the striking design. As well as the 3500msq roof, Lakesmere also installed the aluminium cladding around the roof perimeter, walkways and mansafe system.
