Having been appointed to deliver the full envelope solution for the Accelerator and Incubator buildings at the Stevenage Bioscience Park, housing extensive new laboratory and office space for start-up biotech companies, McMullen have built on this experience in working on scientific research facilities with the development of Oxford University’s Old Road Campus.

Appointed to complete the full vertical facades for the new Nuffield Department of Medicine and Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, McMullen completed two striking facade packages, both designed by leading architect, Make, to provide a focal point of the campus. In addition to proven experience of undertaking complex installations, McMullen delivered added value to the project through providing a single-point responsibility for all elements of the facade.
